About Me

Cathryn Doney, Principal Consultant

Cathryn is an experienced IT and business consultant whose career has focused on delivering IT and organisational change projects to government and corporate organisations.

With over 20 years in senior management roles Cathryn’s experience is broad-ranging and includes client account management for a portfolio of government departments; leadership and organisational development services for a UK-based multi-national corporation; IT project management across multiple agencies and whole of government; State Manager and later National Manager for a large Australian IT consulting and outsourcing firm; and organisational improvement for a major tourism attraction.

Cathryn’s core skills include strategic IT and business consulting, leadership development, IT project management, IT governance, IT service management and improvement, commercial and operational management, and organisational change and development.

Her approach focuses on integration of human, technical and business strategies to bring about sustainable business solutions for clients. Cathryn places a high value on leadership and teamwork, and on aligning individual work efforts towards the achievement of common goals.

Cathryn’s qualifications include a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and a Diploma in NeuroLinguistic Programming. She is a member of the Australian Computer Society and a member of the Australian Institute of Management.

She is currently completing an Advanced Degree in Psychological Science, and is interested in applying psychological science to the intersection of  Information Systems design, Organisation design, and Organisational change management.
